I vividly remember that day when I happened to walk down the narrow alley behind my house and spotted a small figure lying flat on the dry ground. It was a cat, a pitiful-looking cat that I couldn’t ignore.
This cat looked incredibly thin, with dull eyes and its entire fur seemed to have fallen off. I knew immediately that it needed help. With a heart full of compassion, I couldn’t bear to leave this cat abandoned any longer.
