Mason Greenwood, accompanied by some of his personal trainers, participated in a shooting drill at a public facility and looked like a shell of his former self. The 21-year-old is currently waiting to hear from Manchester United about his future with the club. An announcement on Greenwood’s status is expected before United’s Premier League start against Wolves later this month.’

Despite the accusations against him being dismissed earlier this year, Greenwood has not played for United since January. An internal inquiry is currently underway at Old Trafford. Although he has lately been spotted working out with a private coach, he is still not available for selection and has not yet returned to first-team training at Carrington.

Man Utd The Religion recorded the striker’s most recent training session and posted it online; the striker did not appear to be performing at peak efficiency during this session. After picking up the ball on the right side of the box, he was observed taking a number of shots on goal, but none of them were very dangerous to the keeper.

After Greenwood’s second shot on goal rolled right into the arms of the goalkeeper, he scored when his well-placed shot went in the bottom corner, despite the fact that a Premier League goalkeeper would have easily stopped it.

Greenwood’s other attempts on goal were either saved or went wide, so he clearly has a ways to go before returning to action for United at his old level. The club’s inquiry into the former England striker’s behavior has lasted a long time, so it’s unclear if he will be welcomed back into the fold at Old Trafford.

United’s Erik ten Hag, who was asked about his thoughts on the matter during the team’s recent preseason tour of the United States, said that he will respect the club’s decision about Greenwood regardless of his own.

The club has made the decision, Ten Hag remarked. I have voiced my thoughts and concerns, but ultimately, the decision rests with the club. That’s a reality that must be accepted by everyone. I can’t sаy much more than that I’ve voiced my thoughts on the matter and that we should wait to see what the final outcome is.
